Health & Safety Update

Categories: Friendship Circle
As The Friendship Circle works to build a more inclusive community for members and families of all abilities and backgrounds, we recognize the importance of respecting each other’s individual preferences while maintaining a safe and supportive environment for everyone. In line with our mission and per the CDC’s most recent update regarding masking, we will be moving forward with a measured approach to implementing updated masking protocols while continuing to monitor the latest guidance. We want to share with you our immediate changes, and we will be taking the time through the end of March to carefully consider and roll out further updates to our health and safety protocols. We will continue to keep you updated via email regarding any changes.
The Friendship Circle continues to monitor our health and safety measures based on guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), other government organizations, and our Health and Safety Task Force. Beginning Wednesday, March 16, 2022, masking will be optional for members and families at outdoor events. Masking remains mandatory at indoor programs except when eating or drinking while social distancing is possible. We will continue to support (and encourage) any individuals who choose to uphold masking at all times as well as maintain current protocols around symptom monitoring and social distancing. We will also continue to provide surgical and cloth masks for member use.
Please contact Rivkee Rudolph at [email protected] with any questions or concerns. Thank you all for your patience and consideration in helping to maintain a warm and welcoming space for all of our members and families.
