Teen Trip March 2025

The teens had a great day this past Sunday! We kicked off our Teen Trip with a Teen Leadership Board workshop, launching their TLB Project called TLBe Kind. This project is all about spreading acts of kindness in our community. Teens worked together to create kindness cards, keychains and decorative sleeves for Bunny Bakes! Teens then took a trip to Acrisure Stadium for a special behind the scene tour including access to the Steelers and Pitt locker room, the opportunity to walk out onto the field and learning just about everything there is to know about Acrisure Stadium.Thank you to the Pittsburgh Steelers for having us! We had a great time!

Family Fun March 2025

An extra big ‘Thank You’ to all our junior friends who came to celebrate spring at The Friendship Circle! More than 30 junior friends spent time crafting and creating, getting ready for the fun that is spring. Dozens of busy little bees came together to craft bird feeders, caterpillars, and mock floral scenes – it was incredible to see creativity bloom!

We can’t wait to see what comes next, our junior friends really show that artists and gardeners come in all shapes and sizes! Stay tuned for the next Family Fun, we look forward to seeing you there!

Spring Specials: Sports & Gardening

We had a great time at Spring Specials Gardening and Sports! Our friends enjoyed making bird feeders, egg carton greenhouses, and rainsticks. The highlight of the night was enjoying the sunshine while playing various games on the roof! Can’t wait to see you at the next event!

It’s actually the second to last Parsha in the Torah but we read Sukkot-themed readings throughout the holiday until Simchat Torah, which falls a week from Wednesday, on which we read the final Parsha and conclude the Torah. I’ll save my thoughts on… Read More

TwitterFacebookLinkedinPrintemailA WEEKLY TORAH THOUGHT BY RABBI MORDY This week’s Parsha, Vayeilech, brings us one week closer to the completion of the Torah. It also is the Parsha that always falls out around Yom Kippur (this coming Wednesday night and Thursday); often, it is read together with last week’s Parsha, Netzavim. There is something interesting in the names of both Parshas.… Read More
