Jungle Book: so im gonna start off with saying this is by far my favorite live action Disney remake…….so with that out of the way, let’s get onto the review……so basically if u guys have seen the original Jungle book film…then u already know this film……but there are differences…….well the stuff I like is that the CGI animals actually look realistic…..and they show emotions……something Lion King 2019 was lacking in……well get to that later…..also Baloo is voiced by Bill Murray……good grief what a great actor…..also freaking Christopher Walken voices king Louie……again the voice actors are great….oh and Ben Kingsley voices Bagheera……the black panther……no no not that black panther……but hahahha funny…..so anyways basically if u guys font know the plot if this film….well its Mowgli…is a human child,  who’s been raised by animals in the forest….one day they have to take him away to the human village…because the bad guy Shere Khan ….voiced by Idris Alba……because he wants to eat the human child……yikes….anyways so Mowgli gets left behind in the forest….he bumps into Baloo…they become friends…..oh and of course in every kid movie there’s the friends have argument and break up before the second or third act….just cuz that’s totally not been overdone…..😑🤦‍♂️…..so anyways Mowgli gets taken to king Louie….a music song breaks out….although this film ain’t a musical….there’s only 2 songs in this film……anyways so king Louie tells Mowgli that one of the wolfs he grew up with has been killed by the bad guy…..which now makes him go back and face against Khan…..anyways in a epic battle…..while the forest sets on fire…..Shere Khan falls into the flames….here ill show u the footage

Honestly this was one of my favorite scenes in this film…..honestly I just
..I highly recommend this film…..its ten times better then the original film in my opinion……of course u know the film ends on a happy note…so the end….as stated I really recommend  this film…..can’t stress enough this is a great film….one of if not my favorite live action Disney remakes….also this film is directed by John Favreau…..yes the guy who brought us the mandalorian……I recommend giving this a watch, its funny, and can gets intense as u saw by that clip…and the film feels more expanded….then the original…also Shere Khan is way more vengeful then he was in the original…which makes him a menacing threat…..im gonna give this film a solid 10/10…..

Dumbo: so im gonna start off with saying….yes this is another Tim Burton film,  no its ain’t as dark at all compared to Alice in Wonderland…..yes I hate this film….yeah if ur wondering why I hate this film….well never been a fan of the original.
…so no way on earth I was gonna enjoy this film…..so a brief summary of the plot…..a elephant named Dumbo….who has big ears and can fly…has been separated from his mom….now he performs for a carnival….oh the cast of this film….is a guy with one arm (played by Collin Ferrell)……the bad guy boss in charge (played by Micheal Keaton)…….and the guy who leads the carnival group (played by Dani Devito)…..yeah thats right….BTW this ain’t the first time Michel Keaton and Dani Devito have been in a Tim Burton film……..anyways the kids who become friends with Dumbo….including Collin Ferrell….try helping him get to his mom who’s locked away from the bad guy Corporation dude…..yeah I summarize up this film….thats the plot….now let me get to what I hate…..the kid actors can’t act….when they have to show emotions…they looks like they robots…meaning they don’t show emotions…ok well they do but the way they act…as in acting…makes them seem like robots……like…..for example…..no.
..come back….u can’t do this……this isn’t right……😑😑…..can u just feel the emotions I’m feeling while hearing dialog similar to those….in that tone…..anyways I also think Michael Keaton character was way to over Exaggerated……by the third act of the film i kid u not he starts slamming his hands into thr computer systems because they’re not working and he wants ut to work….Jesus…if he is smart and in charge of a company…I think he’d know smashing ur hands into it…won’t fix it….so yeah thats the film…..a forgettable one at best……good grief……honestly I don’t know what to say besides im just disappointed….granted what did I expect…I didn’t even enjoy the original animated version…so….yeah…..but even with mt expectations low…I still feel like I’m not satisfied with my expectations…..im gonna give this film a solid 3.8/10

TwitterFacebookLinkedinPrintemailA WEEKLY TORAH THOUGHT FROM RABBI MORDY This week’s Parsha (Metzorah) continues the saga of the “leper” discussed last week. The word “Metzorah” literally means, “one with Tzaraas,” so makes sense to contain these laws—and yet we find something intriguing. The laws relating to actually having Tzaraas were found in last week’s Parsha; this week contains the laws of purification… Read More
