Teen Trip

Teen Trip at the Carnegie Science Center on Sunday was a blast! We visited all four floors, which included an exhibit about Mars, a miniature railroad train and village, and the H2Oh! exhibit about Pittsburgh’s water systems. Thanks to our teens for making it a great day!

Moms’ Night

On Wednesday, our FC Moms got together for Moms’ Night: Cooking Edition!  The night included a DIY pizza station, a chopped salad station and a station filled with yummy treats such as a cannoli dip and dessert pizza! It was great fun and a chance for our moms to disconnect from their busy lives and reconnect with friends! Special thank you for our host committee: Deb Berlin, Jenn Layman, Karen Clay, Ronna Riffle and Stephanie Pawlowski for helping to plan such a wonderful evening!

South Hills Sports League

Thursday was the kickoff of Levy’s Sports League, where we honored Jonathan Levy, a long-time friend of The Friendship Circle. Thank you to all the friends and family of Jonathan and FC alumni that came out for the program! Our teen Host Committee members helped teach us the rules of bocce ball. We also played lawn games like corn hole and ring toss and even gaga ball!

So I’m going to share a brief thought on Sukkot in that spirit. Sukkot is seriously… Read More
