Sunday Funday

We met for the second Sunday Funday of the year earlier this week, taking a deep dive into our Ocean theme! Friends gathered to create their own “oceans in a jar.” We also participated in a boat floating competition, creating boats out of recyclables materials from the FC office! We concluded by welcoming families and community members to make signs for Walk4Friendship. We can’t wait to see you at the Walk and show off the signs you made!

South Hills Cooking Club

The first South Hills Cooking Club event was a huge success! Members had a great time making pierogies and decorating cookies. The Pittsburgh theme really resonated with everyone showing pride for their hometown. Makayla B. created an amazing rainbow Terrible Towel, and Jenna performed a special number just for the South Hills Cooking Club!

FOTT Meetups

We had so much fun at three different FOTT Meetups this week! At the South Hills Galleria, members enjoyed the chance to connect in a more intimate setting, playing Uno and creating food-themed magnets. At Dunkin’ Donuts in Squirrel Hill, Meetup friends gathered to enjoy coffee and donuts, make paper airplanes, color, and talk about sports and upcoming FC events! More FOTT friends gathered at FC for an Art Night to create signs for Walk4Friendship!

Nasso Much

TwitterFacebookLinkedinPrintemailA WEEKLY TORAH THOUGHT BY RABBI MORDY This week’s Parsha (Nasso) discusses the end of the census and expounds on various laws. As the Tabernacle was about to be inaugurated, the Parsha also describes the offerings brought by each of the tribes. What is noteworthy here is that each offering was identical and yet each was described. (For more on… Read More
